ESPP Interests: My goal as an ESPP concentrator is to be exposed to new ways of thinking concerning the environment, with the broad goal of discovering effective and equitable solutions for climate mitigation. Right now, I am most interested in exploring factors that impact environmental decision-making in individuals, especially related to political behavior, and how to foster pro-environmental choices. Specifically, I am interested in how the rise of technology in American society impacts personal relationships with the natural world, and how these shifting relationships impact support for environmental policy. Through investigating these topics, my goal is to understand if and how the climate crisis can be addressed on the individual level and what that would entail for public policy.
